Incontinence
Incontinence is the loss of bladder or bowel control. This is a common and often embarrassing problem. The severity ranges from occasionally leaking urine when you cough or sneeze to having an urge to urinate that is so sudden and strong you do not get to the bathroom in time.
Although incontinence occurs more often as people get older, incontinence is not an inevitable consequence of aging. If incontinence affects your daily activities, do not suffer in silence. For most people, simple lifestyle changes or medical treatment can ease discomfort or stop incontinence.
